The Township of Nipissing outlines the beautiful South Bay of Lake Nipissing, which is known to be a top ten walleye and bass lake in Ontario. The main building is one of the oldest churches in the diocese of Algoma. The Commanda Heritage Centre is a unique example of late 19th century Victorian commercial architecture. Commanda’s central location on the old Rousseau-Nipissing settlers route continues today as the central location for visitors for the whole region.
