A regular meeting of the Township of Nipissing Council was held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013.

Present: Mayor Pat Haufe and Councillors Tom Butler, Dougal Culham, Tom Piper and Liz Smith.

Staff and visitors present: Dave Yemm; John-Paul Negrinotti; Kris Croskery-Hodgins and Charles Barton.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

Disclosure of pecuniary interest: Councillor Tom Butler and Councillor Liz Smith.

R2013-181 L. Smith, T. Piper: That the minutes of the meeting held September 3, 2013 be adopted as published. Carried.

R2013-182 T. Butler, D. Culham: That the minutes of the closed session meeting held September 3, 2013 be adopted. Carried.

A Budget update was reviewed by Council.

R2013-183 L. Smith, T. Butler: That we accept the correspondence as presented. Carried.

Councillor Tom Butler declared pecuniary interest as his spouse is listed in the Accounts Payable as an employee.
Councillor Liz Smith declared pecuniary interest as her employer is listed in the Accounts Payable.

R2013-184 T. Piper, D. Culham: That the statement of accounts dated: September 4, 12 and 17, 2013, totaling $647,031.31 be approved. Carried.

R2013-185 L. Smith, T. Piper: That we pass By-Law No. 2013-31, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its meeting held on September 17, 2013. Read the first, second and third time and passed this 17th day of September, 2013. Carried.
