TOWNSHIP OF NIPISSING

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

A regular meeting of the Township of Nipissing Council was held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014.

Present: Mayor Pat Haufe and Councillors Tom Butler, Dougal Culham, Tom Piper and Liz Smith.

Staff and visitors present: Dave Yemm, John-Paul Negrinotti and Kris Croskery-Hodgins.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

Disclosure of pecuniary interest: Councillor Tom Butler.

Staff Reports: Dave Yemm, Operations Superintendent – written and verbal report.
John-Paul Negrinotti, EDO-CEMC-Planning Assistant – verbal report.
Kris Croskery-Hodgins, Treasurer-Deputy Clerk – verbal report.

R2014-116 D. Culham, T. Butler: That the minutes of the meeting held May 27, 2014 be adopted as published. Carried.

R2014-117 L. Smith, T. Piper: That we accept the quotation from Canada Culvert for the supply of culverts. Total $9,387.92 plus applicable taxes. Carried.

The Draft Summer Newsletter was reviewed by Council.

A Draft Outline of the Energy Consumption and Demand Plan was reviewed.

R2014-118 T.Piper, L. Smith: That we accept the correspondence as presented. Carried.

Councillor Tom Butler declared pecuniary interest as his Spouse is an Employee of the Township.

R2014-119 D. Culham, T. Piper: That the statement of accounts dated: June 4, 9 and 10, 2014. Totalling $64,519.38, be approved. Carried.

R2014-120 T. Butler, L. Smith: That we pass By-Law No. 2014-27, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its meeting held on June 10, 2014. Read the first, second and third time and passed this 10th day of June, 2014. Carried.

R2014-121 D. Culham, T. Piper: That the meeting be adjourned. Time: 7:27 p.m. Next regular meeting June 24, 2014. Carried.
