NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF ZONING BY-LAW
BY THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF NIPISSING
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Nipissing passed By-law Number 2023-22 on the 21st day of March, 2023, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990, Chapter P. 13, as amended.
The subject property is located at 3568 Highway 534 and legally described as Parcel 14386 Sec Ns; Lot 22, Concession 7 Nipissing Except Part 1 42r7167, Lt46399 & Part 1 42r14132, Township of Nipissing.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a By-law to the Ontario Lands Tribunal. A Notice of Appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a Notice of Appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT no person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the By-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a Public Meeting or written submissions to the council or, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT any Notice of Appeal must be filed with the Municipal Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer of the Township of Nipissing no later than the 24th day of April, 2023 by 4:30 pm. The Notice of Appeal shall set out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, and shall be accompanied by the required fee made payable to the Minister of Finance, Ontario.
An explanation of the purpose and effect of the By-law, describing the lands to which the By-law applies is printed below. The complete By-law is available for inspection in the Municipal Administrator-Clerk-Treasurer office during regular office hours.

EXPLANATION BY-LAW 2023-22
The purpose and effect of the proposed amendment is satisfy condition (e) of the provisional Consent approval for application C2022-08 and implement the recommended 0.3 hectare building envelope on the property. The building envelope for future development remains in the Rural (RU) Zone and the remainder of the property is rezoned Environmental Protection (EP) in order to prohibit development on this portion of the property.
