Municipal Election 2026 – Voting by Proxy

Can’t make it to vote on Election Day or during the advance voting period? You may be able to vote by proxy.

A proxy allows you to appoint someone you trust to vote on your behalf if you are unable to attend the voting location yourself.

How does it work?

•  Complete the Proxy Appointment Form

•  Both you and the person you’ve chosen (your proxy) must meet the eligibility requirements.

•  The completed form must be certified by the Township Clerk before your proxy can vote on your behalf.

•  Your proxy will then present the certified form when voting.

Please review the attached Proxy Appointment Form carefully for eligibility requirements and instructions. If you have any questions or need assistance completing the form, please contact the Township Office. Staff are happy to help guide you through the process.

Your vote matters, and proxy voting is one way to ensure your voice is heard if you’re unable to vote in person.
