Please be advised on Thursday, August 27, 2026 Bear Creek Road will be closed to allow for the crane to be onsite to deliver the abutments for the bridge. The road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
On Tuesday September 1, 2026, the road will be closed for the crane to be onsite to deliver the final sections of the bridge. The road will be closed from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Degagne Aggregates is working hard to complete these closures in a timely manner and before the start of school.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank everyone for their ongoing patience and understanding as the contractor works to complete this important infrastructure upgrade.
The Fire Department will have a truck stationed on the west side of closure to respond to any emergency calls.
