A regular meeting of the Township of Nipissing Council was held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
Present: Mayor Tom Piper, Councillors Linda Andersen and Tom Marchant.
Regrets: Councillors Tom Butler and Liz Smith
Staff and visitors present: Dave Yemm, Will Bateman, John-Paul Negrinotti, Kris Croskery-Hodgins and Charles Barton.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

R2018-099 T. Marchant, L. Andersen: That we award Tender N-01-18, Winter Sand to: A. Miron Topsoil Ltd. Total amount including applicable taxes $45,833.93. Carried.
R2018-100 L. Andersen, T. Marchant: That we award Tender N-02-18, Quarried Granite Stockpiled to: Evan Hughes Excavating. Total amount including applicable taxes: $36,696.75. Carried.
R2018-101 T. Marchant, L. Andersen: That we award Tender N-03-18, Quarried Granite Supply, Crush and Apply to: R.G.T. Clouthier Construction. Total amount including applicable taxes: $162,677.06. Carried.

R2018-104 L. Andersen, T. Marchant: That we award Request for Quote, Pulverizing Road Surface to: Greenwood Paving (Pembroke) Ltd. Total amount including applicable taxes: $7,450.00. Carried.
R2018-105 T. Marchant, L. Andersen: That we donate $100 to the Almaguin Highlands Secondary School Graduation Awards Program. Carried.
2018 Budget update circulated to Council for comments or questions.
R2018-106 L. Andersen, T. Marchant: That we adopt a Reserve and Reserve Fund Policy for the Corporation of the Township of Nipissing. Carried.
R2018-107 T. Marchant, L. Andersen: That we accept the correspondence as presented. Carried.
R2018-108 L. Andersen, T. Marchant: That the statement of accounts dated: May 17 and 22, 2018; totaling $78,334.09, be approved. Carried.
R2018-109 T. Marchant, L. Andersen: That we pass By-Law No. 2018-28, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its meeting held on May 22, 2018. Read the first, second and third time and passed this 22nd day of May, 2018. Carried.
R2018-110 L. Andersen, T. Marchant: That the meeting be adjourned. Time: 8:05 p.m. Next regular meeting June 5, 2018. Carried.
