TOWNSHIP OF NIPISSING
Tuesday, July 9, 2019

A regular meeting of the Township of Nipissing Council was held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Present: Mayor Tom Piper, Councillors Linda Andersen, Tom Marchant, Liz Moore and James Scott.

Staff and visitors present: Gwendolyn Duggan, Joe Duggan, Gary Gardiner, Dave Yemm, Will Bateman, John-Paul Negrinotti, Kris Croskery-Hodgins and Charles Barton.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

R2019-136 L. Moore, T. Marchant: That the minutes of the meeting held June 18, 2019 be adopted as published. Carried.

R2019-137 L. Andersen, J. Scott: That we pass By-Law Number 2019-26, being a By-law to stop up, close and sell part of the Original Shore Road Allowance in front of Broken Lot 11, Concession 18, designated as Parts 1, 2 & 3 on Plan 42R-21131, in the Township of Nipissing, District of Parry Sound.
Read a first, second and third time and passed this 9th day of July, 2019. Carried.

R2019-138 T. Marchant, L. Moore: That this part of our meeting will be closed to the public as authorized by Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, c. 25, for consideration of the following subject matter:
b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; Time: 7:03 p.m. Carried.

R2019-139 L. Moore, T. Marchant: That we resume to an open public meeting. Time: 8:03 p.m. Carried.
Operations Superintendent Yemm left the meeting prior to the end of the Closed Session.

R2019-140 J. Scott, L. Andersen: That we accept the Request for Proposal for Accessible Garden Gazebo, Deck and Ramp Project, RFP 2019-03 from: Mike Young. Total quoted cost of: $39,904.87 including applicable taxes. Carried.

R2019-141 T. Marchant, L. Moore: That we accept the Quotation for updated COOP-2016 imagery from: CGIS – Municipal GIS & Data Integration for the amount of: $1,867.50 plus applicable taxes. Carried.

R2019-142 L. Andersen, J. Scott: That we accept the correspondence as presented. Carried.

R2019-143 L. Moore, T. Marchant: That the statement of accounts dated June 27 and July 9, 2019; totaling $437,535.09 be approved. Carried.

R2019-144 J. Scott, L. Andersen: That we pass By-Law No. 2019-27, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its meeting held on July 9, 2019.
Read the first, second and third time and passed this 9th day of July, 2019. Carried.

R2019-145 J. Scott, L. Andersen: That the meeting be adjourned. Time: 8:21 p.m. Next regular meeting August 6, 2019. Carried.
