TOWNSHIP OF NIPISSING
Thursday, July 16, 2020

A special meeting of the Township of Nipissing Council was held on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
In response to the Declaration of Emergency for Covid-19, the meeting was held electronically
Via Zoom meeting platform.

Present: Mayor Tom Piper and Councillors Linda Andersen, Liz Moore and James Scott.
Regrets: Councillor Tom Marchant.
Present: Operations Superintendent Dan MacInnis and CAO-Clerk Charles Barton.

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m.

Disclosure of pecuniary interest: None.

R2020 -139 L. Moore; L. Andersen: That we accept the Report to Council regarding the Hummel Bridge, prepared by Antoine C. Boucher, P. Eng.;
And that we approve the estimated costs to complete the rehabilitation investigation proposed for a total cost of $23,700.00 before applicable taxes, this amount being shared equally between the Township of Nipissing and the Municipality of Powassan. Carried.
Recorded vote: For Piper, Moore, Scott.

R2020-140 L. Anderson; J. Scott : That we pass By-Law No. 2020-32, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its meeting held on July 16, 2020.
Read the first, second and third time and passed this 16th day of July, 2020. Carried.
