2024 Community Survey Results & Town Hall Meeting
The Township of Nipissing Council in keeping with the Key Priorities of the Strategic Plan of open and transparent governance, honesty and integrity, and accountability to its residents carried out a Community Survey to seek feedback and input on services and programs the Township provides. Closure of Hummel Bridge to Vehicular Traffic
Effective Friday, May 31, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., the Hummel Bridge, a boundary bridge between the Township of Nipissing and the Municipality of Powassan, has been closed to vehicular traffic until further notice. HP Engineering performed an inspection on Hummel Bridge on May 22, 2024 and this has resulted in the recommendation to close the bridge to all vehicular traffic.
Public Notice – No Parking
Per By-Law 2021-50 parking is prohibited along Birchgrove Drive, Rocky Shore Drive, and Sunset Cove Road. Please have regard to the signage and use the Municipal Parking Area. Vehicles impeding traffic flow may be ticketed and or towed at the owner’s expense.
