Effective Friday, May 31, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., the Hummel Bridge, a boundary bridge between the Township of Nipissing and the Municipality of Powassan, has been closed to vehicular traffic until further notice. HP Engineering performed an inspection on Hummel Bridge on May 22, 2024 and this has resulted in the recommendation to close the bridge to all vehicular traffic.

Per By-Law 2021-50 parking is prohibited along Birchgrove Drive, Rocky Shore Drive, and Sunset Cove Road. Please have regard to the signage and use the Municipal Parking Area. Vehicles impeding traffic flow may be ticketed and or towed at the owner’s expense.
