The Township of Nipissing would like to thank the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario for making an investment in the renovation of the Township’s Community Centre. This investment is under the Recreational Infrastructure in Canada (RInC) program and the Ontario Recreational Program (Ontario REC).

RInC is a national program announced in Budget 2009 which provides a temporary economic stimulus of $500 million across Canada between now and March 2011, to share the cost of repairing, upgrading and expanding existing recreational infrastructure in Canadian communities. RInC is being delivered across Canada by regional development agencies.

TYPE OF USE AND USER FEES:

Community Centre located at 2381 HWY 654

1) LIQUOR EVENT HALL RENTAL – approximately 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.——–$175.00

If lessee runs the bar, the bartender must have a Server Intervention Program Certificate or Smart Serve Certificate.

Permit applications need to be submitted 10 days prior to the event at the LCBO on Algonquin Avenue. Liquore Licence numbers to submit are Hall 4287 and Permit 7274. This permit must be posted in the bar area during the event and the permit holder is to be present at all times to ensure that all regulations are complied with.

The Hall is licensed by the LCBO for a MAXIMUM OF 130 PERSONS.

RENTAL INFORMATION

All rental fees are based on the lessee arranging the hall and leaving it clean and set up the way it was found by 1:00 p.m. the day following the event.

Decorating should be done with masking tape or sticky putty only.

Garbage and decorations are to be removed after the event, with contents of all ashtrays dumped in cans provided.

Key can be obtained from the Township office and must be returned as soon as possible.

All liquor must be removed from the hall the evening of the event.
